Manged to assemble ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) zomermaantje 's new desk.
Took me more than 7 hours do do so, mainly because it's the first time I had trouble following the instruction-sheet.
Usualy only follow the instruction-sheet, because I'm too lazy to figure it all out.
Also had to drill 8 holes.
It's been an experience having to follow the instruction and adjusting 2 parts by drilling holes.
And for some reason I'm really tired now...might be because I already was dead-tired when I came home from work.
Assembling furniture also seems not the best of things to do when you're back hurts from 3 weeks on a forklift that's 2 or 3 size to small for me.
Did I mention I'm tired, I should go to sleep. |

| Bike is slowly ... |

I fear my motorbike has had the best of it's year.
It's not that old only 8 year and the counter is only at 86.000km.
But seems that the daily use, during any kind of weather for 4 years, has been though on the bike.
76.000km in 4 years though any kind of weather seem to have shortened the life span of my Transalp, by a couple of 1000km.
A bit ago my speedometer broke down, only a small sprocket need to be replaced.
Last service they had to open up my braking-claws(once again).
And now my RPM-meter cracked down, which I won't replace, because it's simply too expensive(400 Euro)
Only fear it's gonna get worse.
I'm just happy it's a Honda, which means I don't really need to fear for the engine for the first few year, everything else... we'll just have to see what's the next piece that cracks down.
Just hope, she'll last until I got my 'B'-license, after that I can go bit easier on her. |

Whenever I move homes again, it will be without a garden or with a gardener.
Never liked working in the garden as a child and it hasn't bettered.
I hate it and I'm not good at it.
A garden stands for everything I'm not.
It's cultivated nature, the best time to be in it is when I prefer not to be out (when it's hot & light). |

For those who don't know it, you have to do quite a lot to get me in this kind of mood.
So it might be a good idea to keep your mouth shut if you've got a cutting remark at this point.
Since some people are more important then others, I'll side with the less-important ones.
As far as I'm concerned, I'm less-important too. So there is no need for getting any kind of birthday presents. Not the standard 'I don't like presents', which is only my way of saying you don't have to buy them. (It's not that I really mind presents, but I'm happy too if I don't get any. I'll rather have no presents, then useless ones.)
Those less-important people are often too good to value their self over others. They would do well to tell someone else to take a hike if those persons beg for advice or help again, but never return the favor. You can make amendments once, twice, but you can't keep making them if the other side never shows the faintest effort of doing the same.
So as long as nothing changes, I'll consider myself unwanted and uninvited. Which also means they can stuff whatever they would want to give or do for me.
I might be rude, but at least I true to what I think. Which cannot be said from everyone. |

Put some heavy music on and didn't really bother to set the volume low.
So hope our neighbors aren't bother too much by it!
Got a letter from my solicitor, who represent me last friday in police-court.
I got convicted for not giving priority to a vehicle driven by someone who was drunk, drove too hard and tried to pass me on the exit lane.
The lane was empty when I started my manouvre. So how the FUCK was I supposed to give him priority!

When I arrived home from work on friday, I noticed a rather ugly looking wound on Mr Fluffers his cheek.
We suppose he's gotten himself into a fight and got out of is with a hole in his cheek.
I managed to disinfect it and we decided to keep him inside until it's healed.
So I locked the cat-flap.
When we got home Saturday night, we found one cat missing, the rascal had managed to unlock the cat-flap! Only one way though so he'd locked himself out. |
